CASP is a great place to gain practical experience working with school-age children while providing a much needed social service in our community. If you are considering a career in teaching or just love working with children, CASP is the place for you!
Work hours are: 6:30 – 7:45 a.m. for Before School and/or 2:20 – 6:00 p.m. for After School. Competitive wages start at $7.25/hour for high school graduates 18 and over. Salaries are determined by position, college coursework, and childcare credentials. If you are interested in working in one of our 16 before or after school programs please complete a CASP application and email it to info@caspinc.org. The CASP Staff Appreciation Banquet for 2008-09 took place on Tuesday, April 28th and was a HUGE success! Approximately 65 staff members attended and were given the “red carpet” treatment. Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal catered by El Chico as well as yummy cake courtesy of Maggie Moos.
In addition to the great food, staff members were honored with a variety of awards. Site Directors were recognized with an “Oscar” for their awesome performances this year. Many staff members received special recognition for outstanding performances including “Kids’ Choice” and peer awards such as “Best Friend to Everyone”, “Most Dependable” and “Most Athletic”.
Each staff member received a goodie bag and a door prize graciously donated by local businesses and individuals. A few brave staff members performed the “CASP Song” and received an extra “prize” for their efforts! The grand finale of the evening was a drawing for two special door prizes: Professional Teeth Whitening ($250 value – donated by Norman Smile Center) and a Kodak EasyShare Digital Camera ($100 value – donated by Office Max). Congratulations to Jordan Payne for winning the opportunity for a movie star smile and to Rachel Jones for winning a chance to “vogue” like a star.

This adorable card set includes two each of four original designs created by the 2008-09 CASP Kids. The bright, fun cards are blank inside and are perfect for writing notes to family and friends. Be sure to pick up a set or two of this year’s Note Card Collection featuring the artwork of the children in our programs ages 5-12.
Each set is just $10 and includes eight cards (2 each of 4 designs) and eight envelopes. A portion of each card set is tax-deductible. All proceeds benefit the Community After School Program.
